Vetri-dmg 125 Mg 3.85-ounce Weight Loss

Hey guys, I was wondering what kind of weight ranges you have seen in the ara macaws. I basically rescued a 5 month old female scarlet macaw, who is named Saffron, from my girlfriends brother who decided to get one on a whim and didnt take care of it. He got it from the store before it was weaned (at about 2 months old) and weaned it at only 3 months because he was too lazy to go out and get her more formula once he ran out. When I started caring for her she was severly malnourished and skinny. Here is the picture of the first time she let me pick her up. You can see how dull her feathers are. I took her to the vet about 6 months ago for a checkup at an avian vet after taking care of her for a few months and while the vet said she was perfectly healthy at that point, she only weighed 750 grams. Since that time she has put on more weight and is about 850 grams. Is that within the normal weight range of a scarlet macaw because most that I have seen have been well over 1000 grams?
