  • Jun 16, 2016  Rehabman's ps2controller is for Synaptics, not for Alps. Although it won't cause any issue, you won't have touchpad scrolling feature. I would just remove that kext and replace with the one I linked.
  • Jul 25, 2011  Hey guys. Bought Lion from the AppStore? Wan't to have a hard copy somewhere? Don't want to wait or pay the $69 for the USB version available in a month or two? This is for you! After playing around with the Lion installer, I've got to a point where I can boot it off a USB stick for a 100% clean install that DOESN'T create that useless. recovery partition or performing the extra copying files.

has anyone experienced issues install MacOS Sierra via upgrade or clean install in which it seems to be hung and the timing remainig counter displays negative numbers? e.g. -21 remainig, -401 remaining

Hope a more experienced eye with installation errors might have an idea what is going or are the errors exepcted. It seems to hang on install and does not provided further progress update after the last line in the file. Didn't copy the whole log file. Only after it complete the download of the installer via recovery. I did let it run for about an hour and half after the last line June 15 08:12:24 and nothing occured, nor was any additional information added to the log file.'

Sep 28, 2017  I'm trying to do a direct update from Sierra. When I run the installer, it prompts for a restart and when it does, I don't see the option to boot into the installer in Clover. It's only showing Sierra disk and the recovery partitions. What could be causing the installer from not showing up?
